Ally Week

Ally week is a week in which Lincoln students acknowledge the variety of genders there are, during this week students at Lincoln also show their support for those how are prosecuted just because of how they identify themselves.

Ally week started on Monday November 13 during flex with an introduction to this week and also the the GSA (Gay Streight Alliance) club at Lincoln who were responsible of making this week possible. On Tuesday all the students who were interested met at room 408 to watch some videos about many cases of trans-gender people that are living their adolescence in the United States.

On Thursday the GSA club hosted a workshop in which people went to talk about how to express their sexuality and also to help others to do so. On Friday everyone that was intrested in supporting the club signed a pledge and help in the making of a banner, all of those who signed and help were rewarded with homebaked goodies such as cookies and brigadeiros.
