SAAC Basketball

On April 5th, the SAAC Basketball teams from Lincoln set off on their trip to Curitiba, Brazil. Both teams played for the 3rd and 4th position, the boys came out 3rd, beating the Uruguayan American School. The girls however, lost by 3 points against the American school of Quito, from Ecuador. The trip was filled with laughter and fun moments, at least for me. This SAAC Basketball became one of my favorites, out of all the ones I went to, especially because the team I was with was so united. Out on the court we truly gave it our all, and although we got 4th place, we went down fighting harder than ever. That’s why when we lost that game, all of us were cheering and jumping around because we knew that we had given it everything. Next year the same team is coming back and I know we are coming back even stronger. Here I am leaving a little video I made that I believe summarizes the entire experience.
